Important Dates

What's Included

Regular Registration includes:

• Attendance at the AOSD main conference (22-24 March 2006 inclusive)
• Attendance at the Industry and Research Tracks (22-24 March 2006 inclusive)
• Attendance at any workshop to which you have been accepted (20-21 March 2006)
• Attendance at the Student Extravaganza (subject to acceptance)
• Conference Pack (including 1 printed and 1 CD copy of the proceedings—extra copies can be ordered separately, and login + password for free wireless internet access in the entire conference area)
• One ticket to the Conference Reception
• One ticket to the Conference Banquet
• Meals (mid-morning snack, lunch buffet, afternoon coffee break)
• Note that hotels will generally include breakfast unless otherwise specified

Student Registration includes:

• Attendance at the AOSD main conference (22-24 March 2006 inclusive)
• Attendance at the Industry and Research Tracks (22-24 March 2006 inclusive)

Notes:

• In order to qualify for the student rate, we need a proof of your full-time student status. The proof can be either your student id card, or a confirmation from the dean of the faculty, or from the university administration (confirmation of registration / enrolment), where you are officially registered as a full-time student.
• You will be required to present the proof of your student status when you register at the conference registration desk.
• In order to use quick check-in, you will need to send your proof of student status to the Conference Registration Bureau before end of the quick check-in deadline.

Prices shown are per tutorial unit. Half-day tutorials are 1 unit and full-day tutorials are 2 units.

Banquet Tickets

Regular registration includes one banquet ticket. For those who would like to book additional tickets the cost is 80.00€ per ticket.

Additional Proceedings

Additional copies of printed proceedings are available for 25.00€ each. Please note that regular registration includes one copy of printed proceedings, but student registration does not.

Additional Lunch Tickets

Coffee breaks and lunch are included for workshop and tutorial participants on the respective days. The same goes for all participants of the sunday student event (students and experts). Additional lunch tickets can be purchased for 15.00€ each. These can be ordered when you register.

Payment methods

Payment can be made via a secure online registration form, using either Visa or Master Card. For participants who have an account at a German bank the online registration system additionally offers Direct Debit payment ("Elektronisches Lastschriftverfahren").

Quick Check-in

We want to make AOSD.06 a pleasant experience for you from the very start. Quick Check-In will save you queing at the registration desk on the first morning of your conference attendance and provide you as early as possible with all the information you need during the conference and your stay in Bonn. The deadline for signing up for Quick Check-In is March 14.

Students may register for Quick Check-In before sending confirmation of their full-time status. However, in order to activate the Quick Check-In service, students must send electronic confirmation of their full-time student status before Quick Check-In deadline on February 28. See the note above for what this entails.

Accommodation

Please see our accomodations page for special price arrangements with two hotels located next to the conference venue. Students may want to look at the AOSD Wiki to find roommates. There is also a hotel booked specifically for student volunteers and grant holders.
