Research Associate - Industrial Applications of Aspect-Oriented Software

Salary: £23,002 - £32,796 

Applications are invited for this exciting research position in the European
Network of Excellence on Aspect-Oriented Software Development (AOSD-Europe).
The post is for 6 months and will suit a candidate with relevant experience
interested in engaging with AOSD-Europe as well as working closely with
industry and on industry-relevant research.

This research position gives the post holder the opportunity to work
together with a range of stakeholders to develop patterns for aspect usage
demonstrating best practice guidelines for industrial developers. As part of
development of such patterns, the post holder will also work with the
various stakeholders to translate the results from case studies and
empirical evaluations into demonstrable benefits for industrial deployment.
In addition, the post holder will be expected to disseminate the results to
a range of industrial audience through preparation of material for the
AOSD-Europe portal and articles, presentations and demonstrations for
industrial conferences and industry tracks of major academic conferences.

The successful candidate must have a PhD in Computer Science (or a related
discipline) or equivalent experience. It is essential that the candidate
either has direct experience of working in industry or demonstrated
experience of working in collaboration with industry.
