Dear,

Next to Awais's suggestions, work of two collegues of mine also is exactly about the relation between security (access control in particular) and aspects.

First of all, Bart De Win has a phd about the subject:

B. De Win, Engineering application-level security through aspect-oriented software development, Ph.D. Thesis, Department of Computer Science, K.U.Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, March, 2004, 206+xiv pages

You can find more of his work at http://www.cs.kuleuven.ac.be/cwis/research/distrinet/public/showperson.php?ID=25

Secondly, Tine Verhanneman here also is about to finish her phd within the next two months. You can find a list of her publications at http://www.cs.kuleuven.ac.be/cwis/research/distrinet/public/showperson.php?ID=49.

Best regards,

Frans.
